BenchSlate terms of use

Who we are
BenchSlate is made by Sixteen Mile Studio in Milton, Ontario, Canada. “We” means Sixteen Mile Studio. These terms cover the BenchSlate app and the benchslate.app website.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to create an account. BenchSlate is for coaches and tryout evaluators.
Your account
Keep your sign-in safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
Your tryout data
What you enter or import stays yours. We store and sync it only so BenchSlate works for you, as the Privacy policy explains.
Player information
You’re responsible for having the right to enter player details, for example through your association’s registration. Enter only what the tryout needs, and keep notes fair and factual.
Fair use
Don’t misuse BenchSlate. That means no breaking the law, no getting into other people’s accounts, and no harming or overloading the service.
Paid plans
BenchSlate may offer paid plans later. Prices, billing and refunds will follow the app store or payment service you buy through, and we’ll tell you the details before you pay.
No guarantees
BenchSlate is provided as is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep your own exports of anything important. Results help coaches decide; the decisions are yours.
Our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions made using BenchSlate’s results.
Ending your use
You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we’ll say so on this page or in the app before it takes effect.
Law
These terms follow the laws of Ontario and of Canada.
